This simple very old hinge is brass that, at one time, was nickel plated. Gradually the plating is dissolving and, thus, the hinge has a spotted look. We could say it is “shabby chic.” This hinge would look good on an old, rough ice box, or you could scrub the hinge with steel wool and remove the remaining plating.
This hinge has a 7/16-inch off set for the door. The smaller wing, that mounts on the box frame, measures 1 1/2 inches deep (across) and 2 3/8 inches vertically. The hole centers are 1 5/8 inches. The longer wing, that fastens to the door, measures 2 1/2 inches long and 2 inches vertically.
Part number on this hinge was 346S. We will include screws.
