This sleek pair of ice box hinges are different than most. The hinge part swing from the middle of a back plate. They still, however, have a 3/8-inch off set for the door. The pair is old nickel-plated.
The back plates, that mount to the frame of the ice box, measures 1 3/8 inches wide (across) and 2 inches vertically. The longer wings, that wrap around and screw into the door, measure 3 3/4 inches long and 1 7/8 inches vertically. Because of the way these hinges are made, only 3 inches of the long wing is against the door.
The nickel plating is dull and old looking–which is perfect for some old ice boxes. Nickel-plated screws will be included.
