This pair of ice box hinges are brass, but they are plated in nickel. The plating is intact and in good shape. The off-set for the door is deeper than normal– a 7/16 inch.
The butterfly-style smaller wing, that mounts on the frame of the box, measures 1 1/8 inches across and 2 1/2 inches vertically. The larger wing, that screws to the door, measures 2 1/2 inches long and 1 7/8 inches vertically.
This pair is heavy and solid and probably dates to around 1900 to 1930. We will provide nickel-plated screws.
