This set of hinges is actually solid brass with a nickel plating. The plating is still intact with only a hint of the brass underneath exposed slightly here and there. These four date to around 1890 to 1920.
The fancy longer arm of each hinge, which mounts on the door, measures 3 1/4 inches long and 2 inches across the back. The shorter arm (or wing), that mounts on the frame of the ice box, measures 1 1/2 inches long and 2 inches across the back. The off set is the standard 3/8 inch.
These are heavy durable hinges. We will include nickel-plated screws.
PS. we have an extra hinge that matches, if you happen to need it. Call and let us know.
