This curtain tie-back was made by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company. This glass house was located in Sandwich, Mass. as early as the late 1820s. This “flower” is identified in the “Sandwich Glass Handbook” as a curtain tie-back and was produced probably sometime from 1830 to 1860.
The flower measures 3 inches across and projects from the wall one inch. The flower pattern is on both sides. There are no chips or cracks.
