According to the “Sandwich Glass Handbook,” this piece is a curtain tie-back and was produced by the Boston Sandwich Glass Company in Sandwich, Mass. sometime in the mid-1880s. The white milk-glass like “flower” projects from the wall or window frame 1 1/4 inches. The flower pattern is on the front and back side.
The flower measures 3 1/4 inches across. On the tip of one peddle there is some roughness, but it is not a chip. A screw is not included.
This is a rare item and may not last long.
