This old metal hinge was made by the Stanley Works in New Britain, Connecticut. It probably dates to the late 1930s and early 1940s. We have chosen to leave the paint on this one. It would be perfect for any shabby chic cabinet or box. It is a flat surface-mount butterfly hinge. It will not bend backwards.
The hinge spreads to 2 1/2 inches across and measures 2 inches vertically. Each wing is 1 3/8 inches wide.
The hinge is loose and ready to use. The original painted screws will be included.
