An inset-ring pull is one that has the ring bail inset or lying up against the back plate. A quick look at this pull presents us with the idea that there is no bail or pull, but the ring is against the back plate. The single mounting post is at the top of the pull behind the hinge of the ring. The back plate measures 3 1/2 inches across the top and 2 1/4 inches vertically. This set has been painted at one time. It may be original. The black paint, which has flaked off in some places, gives the pull a antique look–even though this set is well over 60 years old. There is a small hole at the bottom of the back plate for a small nail or screw to secure the back plate to the drawer. Screws are included.
