The Eastlake Era (1870-1890) presented hardware introduced by Charles Eastlake, who wanted to decorate the Victorian home with a more simple and unique style of furniture and hardware. His hardware appears to have an Egyptian flair, with its sharpness and straight lines. This item, with its hammer-like drop, is all original, including the bolt. We have not cleaned the pull, but have left it with its beautiful aged patina.
