This pull of the Hepplewhite style is new-old-stock, in that it has never been used. It is heavier than the average stamped steel pieces. It may have been made as late as the 1960s. The pull has a bronze finish and very little design. There is a rope pattern around the edge and some small bead design on the face of the pull. The bail is plain. It is the typical simple classic pattern of the Hepplewhite era. The pull measures 3 inches across and,1 3/4 inches vertically. There is a hole at the base of the back plate for a small nail to secure the pull to the drawer. This is so the pull will not turn or twirl on the mounting post.
