This pair supports the old goldish paint. It is original. Here at the store, we have seen numerous pulls with this same paint from out of the early to mid 20th Century. This pair probably came off of a dresser, buffet, or wardrobe.,Again, typical of this style, is the flower or daisy in the center surrounded by the Victorian fluff. The small swing bail is decorated. Each of these stamped steel pieces measures 2 1/4 inches across and 1 7/8 inches vertically.,The mounting post is in the center of the back of the back plate. There is a hole at the base of the plate for securing the pull to the drawer so it won’t twirl. This is about the finest example of this type of early pull.,Screws are included.
