This pair of buffet pulls are stamped steel but have the original old gold-colored paint. We have seen this treatment on many pieces of furniture pulls from out of the 1930s and 1940s. The pulls measure 1 3/4 inches round.,The flower in the center is actually the head of the mounting post, rather than part of the back plate. The ring pull is inset (up against) the back plate and appears to be one piece. The ring is hinged at the top of the back plate.,There is a small hole at the base of the back plate in order to secure the pull with a small brad or screw. This prevents the back plate from twirling in place. Mounting screws are included.
