This pull is another example of a buffet or dresser pull that has the ring pull nestled into the back plate. There is also the typical flower in the center and a decorated ring. This one is slightly different in that it has the garland across the top of the back plate. The ring pull is hinged at the top of the back plate and to the mounting post. Therefore, the pull will hang 1 7/8 inch below the post or mounting screw. The pull has the old original gold-tone paint which was very popular in the 1930s and 1940s. The pull measures 2 1/4 inches across. There is a small hole at the base of the back plate for securing the plate with a small brad or screw. This prevents the pull from twirling. ,An original mounting screw is included.
