This round cast brass pull has a half-round swing bail that snuggly lays up against the back plate. The heavily ornate pair probably dates around 1900 to 1910. We have only lightly cleaned the pair. Most of the original patina is still on the pulls. They measure 1 7/8 inches round. The back plate is heavy brass while the bail is steel with a brass plating. There is a hole at the bottom of the back plate for a small nail or screw to secure the plate so it won’t turn or swivel. The mounting post for the singe screw is in the middle of the back of the plate. Screws are included.
