Eastlake era (1870-1890) teardrop pulls come in small, medium, and large. This one is a small one. This size was often used on the glove or hanky box drawer on the dressers.
The drop from the hinge to the tip of the base finial is 1 3/8 inches. The painted wood part measures 3/4 inch (without finial) long and one inch across the belly. The steel bolt is 2 inches long. From the back plate, however, there is 1 1/2 inches left to insert into the drawer and fasten with a nut.
The brass convex back plate is 1 1/4 inches round The pull is in very good condition. There is light rubbing on the backside of the wood drop.
