This nickel-plated small hinge is what we call a “stop hinge.” It has a spine that is constructed so that the hinge will not open fully or bend backwards. If this hinge were installed on a box lid, the hinge would not allow the lid to fold back very far, but stop at an upright position. This hinge probably dates to around 1920 to 1940.
The hinges measures 1 1/2 inches vertically and 1 5/8 inches across both wings. Each wing is 1/2 inch wide.
We will include screws.
