This key escutcheon is stamped (or pressed) brass. It is bendable and not hard cast like some other escutcheons. Stamped brass key-hole covers were very popular on early 20th Century furniture. This one is in good condition.
The key-hole cover measures 2 inches across and one inch vertically. It does not lay perfectly flat to the surface because of the raised pattern. There are two holes in the cover for inserting brads or small screws to secure the escutcheon to the wood.
Mounting brads are included.
