We call this pattern “rock and ripples.” The pulls in this set are large in size and will require a larger drawer. In the Victorian period, the more common folks used this kind of hardware on the more simple and plain pieces of furniture. The back plate is stamped brass (compared to the brass cast plates) and the swing bail is steel (compared to a solid brass bail). Never the less, this is a beautiful set and one not to be ashamed of! After all, it is over 100 years old.
The back plates measure 5 1/4 inches across and 2 1/2 inches vertically. The steel bail is 4 inches wide. The drop from the top of the plate to the bottom of the bail is 3 inches.
The condition of the set is very good. Because of the stamped brass back plates, there are a few small dings. All of the bolts and nuts are included. All four bails match.
