If you look closely at this drawer pull, you will notice that it looks like it has a gold-colored paint on it. We believe this treatment was done at the factory. The coating is on the front and back. Other pieces of drawer hardware have come through our hands with a factory-applied finish. This was done perhaps to keep the stamped brass from tarnishing. This pull also has a fancy cast brass bail and two brass posts. Usually brass posts and bails were paired with the cast brass back plates. Thus, in short this one is unusual because of its make-up and its finish.
The back plate is large measuring 5 1/4 inches horizontally and 2 1/2 inches vertically. The total drop including the bail is 3 inches. The hole centers are 3 inches apart. The heavy cast bail measures 4 1/8 inches across. Screws feed into the posts from the back of the drawer. Those screws are provided.
