At some point in the early 1900s, manufacturers coated their furniture hardware with a gold or mustard-colored paint. This final finish is original to the pull. This is an example of that treatment. We find this treatment in a variety of hardware. The pull is actually stamped brass with steel eye bolts and bail. The bail is also painted.
This drawer pull measures 3 7/8 inches horizontally and 1 1/2 inches vertically. The total drop including the bail is 2 1/8 inches. The hole centers are 3 inches apart. The bail has a “thumb-nail” pattern. Nuts for the eye bolts are included.
All of our Victorian pulls are housed in the store’s 1916 parts cabinets. To date, we estimate that we have over 250 patterns. If you are looking for a certain pattern, contact us.
