This old set from the Victorian era would look nice on an old pine chest. The set is not of the high quality of the cast brass. These pieces have the simple steel eye bolts and steel bail. The back plate is stamped brass. It is very thin and flat, however. The pattern is delightful. We call it, here in the store, “Three Pansies.”
The back plate measures 5 inches across and 2 inches vertically. The drop from the top of the plate to the bottom of the bail is 2 3/4 inches. The steel bail is especially nice. it is 4 1/4 inches wide and has a predominant pattern.
We have lightly cleaned these, but they have already taken on a beautiful patina.
