This stamped steel knob came out of the Depression era and probably graced a buffet or dresser. It has a beautiful pattern. The knob was made in a three-piece construction. The top was folded and crimped over the backside of the knob, and then that was crimped onto the neck. On the underneath side are the words: “Patented 5-20-30.”
The knob measures 1 1/8 inches in diameter and projects 5/8 inch from the surface. The neck at the base is 1/2 inch wide. A screw will be included.
