This set is a family–they have always been together and came from the same piece of furniture. They support the old gold-colored paint that is original. These stamped steel pulls are from the early 1900s and have the swing bail to be used to open the drawer. The mounting post is located in the center of the back of the pull. Each pull measures 2 inches across and 2 1/4 inches vertically. There is a hole at the top of the back plate for a nail or small screw to secure the back plate to the wood. This prevents the pull from turning or twirling on the post. Screws are included.
