This knob has the very common motif of a daisy or sunflower. Here at the store, we have come across various knobs with this flower, in both brass and steel, each one often times just slightly different from the other. This steel knob probably comes from out of the Depression era. During that time furniture was adorned with hardware of cheaper material. Because of its rarity, however, these steel knobs are highly sought after.
The knob has the older style of construction. The top was crimped onto the base. Later on, manufacturers dropped this timely procedure and started making knobs as one piece. The knob measures 1 1/8 inches in diameter and projects from the surface 7/8 inch. The knob has a narrow stem, only 1/4 inch wide. The original screw will be included.
