Stamped steel in the Victorian era is not too common. Most of our hundreds of patterns are either stamped brass or cast brass. This is a stamped steel drawer pull with a decorated steel bail that hangs from two steel eye bolts. It appears to us that this piece never had any coating or finish.
The back plate measures 4 1/4 inches horizontally and 1 7/8 inches vertically. The total drop including the bail is 2 inches. The hole centers are 3 inches apart. Nuts are included for the eye bolts.
