This set of stamped steel pulls comes from out of the 1930s and 1940s. It has the Depression era look. They are rather dull in color and wood look perfect on an old pine buffet or small chest. Each pull is one piece. The tear drop is hinged on a post which is part of the back plate.
The decorated back plate measures 1 7/8 inches round. The drop from the top of the plate to the bottom of the tear drop is 2 7/8 inches. The distance from the hole (post) to the bottom of the tear drop is 2 1/4 inches.
The tear drop is not a solid piece. it is stamped steel and was molded into shape. At the widest point each drop is one-inch wide. The pull is fastened to the drawer with a screw that is inserted from the back of the drawer. Screws are included.
