This pretty item is of the Victorian age, 1870-1915. It is made of stamped steel and has a steel bail. The back plate, however, has a bronze or copper finish, giving the pull a supple warm tone. We have not touched this old pull, only to dust it. The bail in this photo has small blotches of red paint which can be removed.
The back plate measures 4 inches horizontally and 1 7/8 inches vertically. The entire drop including the bail is 2 inches. The hole centers are 3 inches apart. The bail swings from two steel eye screws. Nuts are included.
