This teardrop pull probably dates from the 1930s to the 1940s. The back plate is stamped steel and the drop is brass. We have only dusted this one; it still has its aged patina.
The back plate, with a leaf pattern, measures 1 3/4 inches horizontally and vertically. There is a tiny hole at its base for a brad to secure the plate to the drawer. The teardrop is 2 inches long and only a 1/2 inch wide. The backside of the drop is flat. The total length of the pull, from the top of the plate to the bottom of the drop, is 2 5/8 inches.
The post extends beyond the plate 3/8 inch. It will be inserted into the wood. The screw is then fed from the back of the drawer to thread into the post. A screw will be included.
