This bolt has the un-slotted head. It is preferred over the slotted machine bolt because of the smooth head. These bolts are used to fasten the glass cabinet (and furniture) knobs and handles to a drawer or door. They can also be used to fasten some of the larger porcelain cabinet knobs.

The bolts come in three choices. (1) new brass-coated steel; (2) new nickel-coated steel; and (3) old used steel, untreated. The new bolts are 2 1/2 inches long, threaded half way up the bolt. The old used ones are various lengths, but most of them are also 2 1/2 inches. If an extra long bolt is needed, we can search through the lot and find a few.

Your choice depends on the look you want. The brass and nickel are bright and can draw attention to the knobs and coordinate with other items. The dull steel (and sometimes rusty) blends into an antique, old look.

Each bolt comes with a square nut.
