This Victorian furniture pull dates from 1870 to 1915. Because it has the cast brass back plate, fancy brass posts, and a cast brass bail, this pull probably came off of an expensive piece of furniture. Both the back plate and bail are highly decorated with leaves and curves. A fleur de Lis motif is in the center.
The plate measures 3 7/8 inches horizontally and 1 1/2 inches vertically. The drop with the bail is 2 1/4 inches. Hole centers are 3 inches apart. The bail swings from posts that are fastened to the back plate and extend 3/8 inch from the back of the plate. Screws are inserted from the back of the drawer to thread into the posts.
This is an exceptionally fine antique. Screws will be included.
