This beautiful cast brass piece has been listed as a sash lift. As that purpose it would be mounted at the bottom of a window and used to lift up or open the window. However, this old Victorian piece could also be used in a pocket door and used as a pull. It dates from the 1870s to the very early 1900s.
This lift or pull measures 4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The inset portion of the lift is 2 1/4 inches long and 7/8 inch wide. The depth is 1/2 inch. The item is secured with two screws on the inside, out of site. Screws will be included.
