This pair of cast iron knobs are very solid and heavy. (weighing a total of 3/4 pound) They are of a one-piece construction. The pattern is quite intricate but does not go to the “edge” of the knob, leaving a smooth frame around the pattern.
Someone browsing our website kindly shared information on the maker and pattern of this knob. It is a 1905 Russell Erwin knob with the Chatham pattern. Each knob measures 2 1/4 inches across and 1 1/4 inches deep. It appears on one knob that at one time there was a bronze finish on the pattern. Only a faint hint of that finish remains.
A spindle and two set screws are included.
