This cast-iron rosette was used behind a door knob in the Victorian era, around the turn of the 20th Century. Since it is cast iron, it probably accompanied a porcelain knob or a steel door knob. The pattern shows a six-point star and leaves.

The rosette measures 2 inches round. The opening for the door knob is 5/8 inch.

Screws will be included.
