It is likely that every window in some Victorian homes had one of these sash lifts. Thus, one would think that these would be plentiful. But they are not. This one is cast iron and has a very nice Victorian pattern. With pieces like this on the window, the homeowner surely once in awhile pulled the curtains back just to display the hardware!
This lift measures 2 inches wide and 1 1/8 inches vertically. The hole centers are 1 1/4 inches. The piece projects from the surface 7/8 inch.
