This beautiful cast-iron Victorian screen-door set is a family. It was found together with its original pieces. All pieces are matching. The set consists of the surface rim-lock, its keeper, two door knobs, and one rosette. Each piece has the heavy Victorian décor of flowers and leaves.
The rim lock, that mounts on the front of the door, measures 3 5/8 inches horizontally and 2 1/8 inches vertically. The lock trigger works well. Its keeper, that mounts on the door frame, measures 2 1/4 inches vertically and one inch across.
The two iron door knobs measure 2 inches round. They project 1 3/8 inches from the surface. The rosette that mounts on the backside of the door, under the knob, measures 1 7/8 inches round. It has two teeth or grippers that dig into the wood. Door knob set screws and the spindle are included. We will also provide steel screws.
