This rosette goes behind a door knob. Often times a rosette was used on the backside of the door with a key escutcheon beneath it. This piece comes from out of the Victorian era, 1870-1915.

This heavy brass rosette (could be cast bronze) measures 2 1/4 inches round. The opening for the door knob neck 5/8 inch. We will include three screws.
