This Victorian furniture bail pull dates from the late 1800s to about 1915. It is all cast brass. Instead of having a back plate, this swing bail hangs from two fancy eye bolts that are attached to rosettes.
The bail has a concaved pattern of roping, leaves, and flowers. It measures 3 5/8 inches wide. It is not a deep bail, only 1 1/2 inches from the top of the rosette. Its ears turn inward and insert into the eye bolts. The hole centers are 3 inches.
The fancy eye bolts insert into the front of the drawer. They are mounted to the rosettes which measure one inch round. Their pattern is also concaved. The bolt, from the backside, is 1 1/4 inches long. The bolts are secured with nuts. Nuts are included.
