This large stamped brass key-hole escutcheon has a Victorian pattern and dates to around the 1880s to 1900. It was used on a passage door under the door knob and rosette. It does not lay flat. The piece stands out from the surface 1/8 inch.
The escutcheon measures 2 inches vertically and 1 1/4 inches horizontally. The key hole is 3/4 inch long. Screws or small nails will be included for mounting.
