This pattern appeared in the Russell & Erwin, of New Britain, Conn., catalog in 1909. The pattern name is “Century.” The hardware was made in bronze and steel. This pair of door knobs are of steel. They are belted knobs–the top is snapped down over the base, creating a belt. This is a five-fold knob, meaning that there are five points (or divisions) in the pattern.
The knobs measure 2 1/4 inches across and 1 1/4 inches deep.
A spindle and two set screws are included.
