Waterfall furniture hardware is fragile and hard to find. The Waterfall era occurred during the Depression period and had a look of its own. The Art Deco furniture had curved or rounded edges, thus the name “Waterfall.” Most of the time the hardware handles and pulls included bakelite disks or chunks. This is an example pull of that era.
The amber-colored bakelite pull fastens to the drawer by two screws (fed from the back of the drawer). The hole centers are only 3/4-inch apart. The pull lays inside of a metal, brass-toned décor piece that measures 6 inches long and 3/4 inch wide. It has a slight curve. The bakelite pull measures 1 1/8 inches horizontally and 3/4 inch vertically. Screws will be provided.
